Lord Michael Ashcroft is an international businessman, philanthropist, author and pollster. Lord Ashcroft has varied and substantial business interests around the world in public and private companies, including serving as non-executive chairman of Impellam Group, a £2.25 billion UK-based staffing firm. He is a former treasurer and deputy chairman of the Conservative Party in the UK, the honourary chairman and former treasurer of the International Democrat Union and a Privy Council member. In the UK, he is the founder and chair of trustees of both Crimestoppers and the Ashcroft Technology Academy and chancellor of Anglia Ruskin University.

Andrew Hogarth is CEO of Staffline, supplying up to 35,000 workers every day to more than 1,300 clients. Staffline also provides services to the UK government-funded Welfare to Work and Skills arena. Hogarth has been with the company since 2002. Private equity firm Living Bridge funded the buy-in/management buyout of the firm in 2000 and introduced Hogarth as finance director. Hogarth helped float the firm on AIM in 2004, becoming managing director in 2005 and has been chief executive since 2009. He is a certified neuro-linguistic programming coach.

Charles-Henri Dumon is CEO and co-founder of talent solutions firm Morgan Philips Group. Dumon’s commitment to investing in the latest digital and data-led solutions, and disrupting conventional approaches to talent solutions, led him to launch the firm in 2013. Prior to this he worked for 27 years with Michael Page, where he was a member of the board of directors. Last year, Morgan Philips Group acquired Hudson Global’s recruitment and talent management activities in Europe (except for the Benelux countries) and launched Morgan Philips Hudson Talent Consulting in the UK, France, Spain and Poland.

Simon Blockley is CEO of Guidant Global, the specialist recruitment outsourcing business of UK staffing firm Impellam Group. He joined Guidant in 2014, becoming managing director in 2017. In October 2018, Impellam merged its US and UK talent acquisition and managed solutions businesses — rebranding them as Guidant Global. Following the merger, Blockley became CEO in January 2019, overseeing the brand on a global basis. Guidant Global provides more than 220,000 contingent worker assignments in the field on behalf of 100-plus clients across 80 countries.

James Reed is chairman of Reed Global, which was founded by his father in 1960. The company has 3,000 employees working in 140 locations worldwide. Reed is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and was formerly an associate of the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit and a member of the Institute for Public Policy Research’s business-led taskforce on race equality and diversity in the private sector. Reed is a regular media commentator on work and labour market issues, with recent appearances including BBC News, Sky News, BBC Radio 2 and The Apprentice.
