Roland Gomez is CEO of the French staffing group Proman, which he founded in 1990. The family run company is the fifth-largest staffing firm in France and the largest privately held staffing firm operating in the French market. A rare feature for a top player in the staffing industry, the Gomez family are the sole shareholders of the company. In the last five years, the company achieved an average revenue growth rate between 15% and 20%. Prior to founding Proman, Gomez trained as an industrial steelworker, and later worked as a branch manager for an engineering services firm. Gomez recently passed the baton to his son Roland as managing director.

François Béharel was appointed to Randstad’s executive board in 2013. He is now responsible for France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium & Luxembourg, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, and Uruguay. It started when he joined Vedior in 1999 as a regional manager. Following various promotions, he became CEO of Vedior France in May 2007. Following Vedior’s acquisition by Randstad, he was appointed president and CEO of the newly combined Randstad Groupe France in 2008 and played a key role in the integration of its businesses.
Jean-Philippe Papin is general director of France-based Actual Leader Group, established in 2018 after the merger of temporary employment firms Groupe Actual and Leader Intérim. He had been the CEO of Leader Intérim, the French staffing firm he founded in 1992; that firm had ranked 10th on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest staffing firms in France with €426 million in 2017 revenue. Pursuing international development and moving toward its objective of 20% turnover abroad while strengthening its positioning on the European continent, Actual Leader Group in July 2019 acquired a majority stake of Dutch HR services firm Flexfactory.
Sylvestre Blavet is chairman and CEO of French online staffing group Freelance.com, a role he was appointed to in 2019. He is also chairman of Paris-based CBV Ingénierie Group, the largest shareholder of Freelance.com. In June 2020, the CBV Ingénierie Group acquired INOP’S, a Paris based IT services firm with a complementary business model to Freelance.com: helping SMEs and startups with a strong expertise in IT to work more efficiently with large enterprises. The new group, created and led by Blavet, is now a French market leader with €375.4 million in revenue in 2020.

Isabelle Eynaud-Chevalier was appointed general manager of Prism’emploi, the French association of employment agencies, in May 2018. Prior to Prism’emploi, she was deputy director general strategy and social innovation for Lee Hecht Harrison-Altedia. Eynaud-Chevalier began her career with the Ministry of Labour and Employment in 1991. She then joined the human resources department of the Ministry of Culture and Communication. Throughout her more than 20 years’ work within the French government, she held various positions in the fields of employment, vocational training and human resources management.
Nathalie Jaoui is deputy CEO and head of Groupe Crit, a France-based €1.7 billion temporary recruitment provider with 8,200 employees in 12 countries. In 2021, Groupe Crit was featured on Institut Choiseul’s New Conquerors of the Economy, a study honouring 150 companies engaged in conquering their markets. Jaoui has led the group’s external growth strategy in the US market and engaged it in corporate social responsibility. She has also been on the board of directors of Prism’emploi, the French staffing association, and an executive council member of MEDEF.

Christophe Catoir was appointed by The Adecco Group as regional head of France and Northern Europe in February 2019 and this year assumed executive oversight of the company’s UK and Ireland general staffing business. A member of the executive committee since 2015, Catoir joined Groupe Adecco France as internal auditor in 1995. By 2005, he was appointed head of permanent placement activities in France, and became a member of the Groupe Adecco France management team in 2007. In 2009, Catoir was appointed managing director of Adecco South-East France and in 2012 took over as managing director for Professional Staffing Groupe Adecco France.

Denis Pennel has been managing director of the World Employment Confederation since 2005. Pennel promotes the interests of the staffing industry before international institutions such as the European Union, the International Labour Organization, the World Bank and the OECD. Prior to his current role, he served as corporate communications director for Manpower France from 1998 to 2005. A work futurist, he is best known for his thought leadership role on the changing world of work, acting as a keynote speaker and writing many opinion pieces and several books including The Ego Revolution at Work (2015) and Travail, la soif de liberte, which translates to Work, the thirst for freedom (2017).

Christophe Duchatellier has been global head, professional recruitment, Spring Professional and Badenoch+Clark at The Adecco Group since 2018. Duchatellier first joined The Adecco Group in 2010 as director general, professional staffing. In 2012, he was appointed regional head for The Adecco Group operations in Japan and Asia and became an executive committee member for The Adecco Group. In 2015, he served as regional head of Asia Pacific. Prior to Adecco, he held leadership roles at Michael Page.
