In recognition for his services to engineering, Mason was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire and received the High Sheriff Special Recognition Award for facilitating specially adapted personal protective equipment for medical staff supporting young people with learning disabilities.

Industry veteran Miles Hunt became the first-ever chairman of Cobalt Recruitment in 2019. Miles also chairs several other companies, including Apsco Global, which represents the professional recruitment sector in Germany, Singapore and Australia as well as the UK. In 2013, he launched private equity investment firm Benula Capital, which has nine investments in the staffing sector, HR consulting firms and providers of recruiting technology. Prior to Benula, Hunt founded UK-based international staffing specialist Empresaria Group in 1996 and led its IPO in 2004 before stepping down as chief executive in 2012.

Jaoui has led the group’s external growth strategy in the US market and engaged it in corporate social responsibility. She has also been on the board of directors of Prism’emploi, the French staffing association, and an executive council member of MEDEF.

He oversaw the acquisitions of the top three family-owned businesses in the Netherlands, strengthening Proman’s position in Northern Europe; the organisation now represents more than 800 branches and 100,000 people on assignment every day in 16 countries. Expansion is still one of Gomez’s top priorities, as he aims to reach €6 billion in 2025. He joined the family group in 1993 and held several positions before becoming CEO in 2003.

Coppens is also a nonexecutive board member at Colruyt Group, La Lorraine Bakery Group and Euronext in Belgium. She also oversees the House of HR foundation JobRoad, which helps match disadvantaged people with suitable employers.

Lorien provides technology, digital and transformation solutions in the UK, Europe and North America. Gettins spearheaded Lorien’s entry into the DACH market and helped facilitate mergers that have helped make Lorien an internationally recognised brand. Under his leadership, Lorien saw post-Covid gross profit grow by 43.5% in 2021. Over the last 12 months, Lorien’s headcount has also increased by 45% through internal investment — a testament to Gettins’ belief that “people make the difference.”

Regarded as a catalyst for change in recruitment, King introduced the accredited Certificate in Recruitment Practice — the sole degree in the world for recruiters. She is an executive board member at the World Employment Confederation and has been featured on SIA’s Staffing 100 and Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing lists.
