Luigi Brugnaro is president of Umana Holdings. Between 2009-2013, he was President of Confindustria Venice (Italian employers’ federation). In October 2012 he was elected president of Assolavoro, which represents the staffing industry in Italy. Umana is the sixth largest staffing firm in Italy, according to Staffing Industry Analysts top staffing report for Italy. In 2006, he bought SSD ReyerVeneziaMestre, the oldest basketball sports club in Italy.

In 2007, Agostino Di Maio became general manager of Assolavoro, the National Association of Staffing Agencies, in Italy. Founded in October 2006 from the merger of the three pre-existing representative agencies, Assolavoro represents the employment agencies that produce about 85% of the total turnover linked to the administration of work and count more than 2,500 branches throughout Italy. Prior to Assolavoro, Di Maio was director of human resources for Alitalia Compagnia Aerea Italiana SpA, a company that provides air transportation services to passengers in Italy and internationally. In 2016, Di Maio contributed to the book Vent’anni e un giorno di riforme del lavoro (20 years and one day of labour reforms).

Federico Vione first joined The Adecco Group in 1999 as branch manager and has held a variety of leadership roles since; he was appointed regional head of North America, UK & Ireland, Adecco and Pontoon in April 2017 and has been a member of The Adecco Group Executive Committee since 2009. Other roles include chief sales and innovation officer from October 2015 to March 2017; regional head of Italy, Eastern Europe & India from 2011 to 2015 (including MENA as of 2012); and regional head of Italy and Eastern Europe from October 2009 to August 2011. Vione served as VP of Assolavoro Italy between 2010 and 2012.

Ramazza has a degree in business economics and a master’s from the London Business School.

Stefano Scabbio was appointed president of Northern Europe, Mediterranean and Eastern Europe for ManpowerGroup in June 2017, expanding his responsibilities to include Northern Europe. Stefano also leads European sales and marketing. Scabbio joined ManpowerGroup in 2003 as financial director of Italy. He was appointed managing director of ManpowerGroup Italy in 2006 and was named president in 2007. In 2008, Scabbio became a member of the Europe, Middle East and Africa strategic executive team, and in 2010, with the newly created Southern Europe region, his role expanded to regional managing director of Italy and Iberia. In February 2015, he was appointed president of Mediterranean and Eastern Europe. In 2014, Scabbio also became president of Assolavoro, the Italian Association of Private Employment Agencies. He is the VP of Bocconi University Alumni Association and is a current director of Junior Achievement Italy.

Picarelli joined Adecco in Italy in 1993 as country director. In 1997, he was appointed chief sales and marketing director, Italy. From 2002 to 2004, Picarelli served as regional head for Central Europe and was thereafter appointed chief operating officer of Adecco Staffing Division Worldwide. From 2005 to 2009, he served as country manager of Adecco Italy and Switzerland (Switzerland until the end of 2008).
