In addition to serving as executive chairman of Norman Broadbent, Peter Searle is a dedicated supporter of the recruitment industry. He is currently chairman of the board of Hiring Hub and has led and sat on the boards of several companies, including Spring Group, Delphi, Airswift and The Adecco Group. He also has extensive global experience in mergers and acquisitions. At the 2020 Recruitment International Awards, Searle was awarded a place in the Hall of Fame for “promoting the recruitment industry.”

Appointed regional president, Northern Europe, in May 2021, Riccardo Barberis oversees all ManpowerGroup’s Manpower, Experis and Talent Solutions brands and offerings across the region and is accelerating diversification, digitisation and innovation plans. Barberis, who speaks five languages, reports directly to Chairman and CEO Jonas Prising and is on ManpowerGroup’s executive leadership team. He currently serves as board member of Junior Achievement Europe; he had also served as VP of Assolavaro, the Italian staffing industry association, and was president of ManpowerGroup’s Human Age Institute. He joined ManpowerGroup in 1998 and has held numerous leadership positions in Europe and Latin America, including country manager for ManpowerGroup Italy.

Alexandre Pham is president of Mistertemp’ group, a digital staffing provider in France. Under Pham’s leadership, the company registered 1.6 million candidates on its platform and last year launched Mybonus, a fidelity programme designed for rewarding workers. Pham is also closely involved in the company’s partnership with Proxite, an association dedicated to empowering vulnerable young people by providing employment opportunities. As the first staffing agency in France to buy a parcel on Sandbox, a decentralised, community-driven platform in the metaverse, Mistertemp’ group has opened new doors of possibilities to attract, retain and select the right talent.

Farida Gibbs is founder and CEO of Gibbs Hybrid, which provides resourcing and consultancy solutions across the UK, EMEA and North America. She founded Gibbs, a globally certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise and Ethnic Minority-Owned Business, in 2005; under her leadership, the organisation’s Polish operation grew by 600% in 2020 and 2021. Gibbs supports the Women of the Future Ambassadors Programme and sits on the advisory board for Mosaic Prince’s Trust. She has won multiple awards and was named to SIA’s Global Power 150 — Women in Staffing list in 2021. Gibbs was also appointed to lead the UK government’s Supplier Diversity workstream.

Openjobmetis S.p.A. saw record revenue in 2021 compared to previous years, and at the forefront of that achievement was CEO Rosario Rasizza. Under Rasizza’s leadership, Openjobmetis in the first half of 2022 completed the integration and reorganisation process for the Quanta Group with the merger of Quanta S.p.A. into Openjobmetis and the merger of Quanta Risorse Umane S.p.A. into Openjob Consulting S.r.l. The company also improved its Sustainalytics ESG Risk Rating this year to 10.4 points from 12.5 points, placing it among the top HR firms ranked by the organisation. Rasizza looks forward to a year full of new challenges in 2023.

As chief digital officer at Randstad nv since 2019 and a member of its executive board, René Steenvoorden is responsible for Randstad’s digital strategy, digital strategy and its implementation across the group worldwide. He also serves as CIO and oversees IT, marketing and communications globally. Steenvoorden is passionate about AI and its influence on the future of work to help both talent and clients prosper. He supports several charities and advises organisations such as the City of Amsterdam and NPM Capital. Steenvoorden previously was a supervisory board member of KPMG the Netherlands, taught cybersecurity at Nyenrode University and helped start the National Cyber Security Council.

Jan Bengtsson is president and CEO of Swedish staffing firm Pion Group (formerly known as Poolia). He was appointed to his current role following the 2018 merger of Poolia with Uniflex, which he led as CEO. Recently, the group acquired SaaS recruitment platform Workspace Recruit, which Pion offers to its clients so they have a GDPR-compliant system when they recruit without external help. Pion also recently launched a tech consultancy firm, Qrios. Bengtsson plans to grow the company as well as all the people involved including clients, contingent talent and internal employees. Bengtsson is also a board member of the Swedish staffing employer organisation Kompetensföretagen.

David Leigh is CEO of AMS, a London-based provider of RPO, MSP and other talent services. Leigh joined the firm in 2019 from Study Group, where he served as CEO and then executive chair. Leigh’s other experience includes serving as CEO of SHL, a provider of talent assessment solutions. He is only the second CEO in the history of AMS, succeeding company founder Rosaleen Blair. In the past year, AMS launched its TalentLabs solution aimed at upskilling clients’ technology capabilities. The company also continued its global expansion, opening new offices in Wuhan, China; Barcelona, Spain; and Budapest, Hungary.
