Herman Nijns is CEO of Randstad Group BeLux and general director, Nordics. He is also president of the World Employment Confederation – Europe, a regional organisation that represents the European staffing industry, and a member of the supervisory board of Federgon, the Belgian staffing industry association. Felipe Navío is co-CEO of digital temporary job platform Jobandtalent, which he co-founded in 2009 in Madrid with the goal of fundamentally tearing down the barriers of job searching and hiring. One of the fast-growing companies in the industry today, Jobandtalent in December 2021 announced a $500 million funding round backed by leading investors such as SoftBank and Kinnevik, followed by a major debt facility with Goldman Sachs and Citi in May. The company has also expanded to new markets and announced three acquisitions this year. In 2021, Jobandtalent placed more than 200,000 people in jobs and is on track to double this figure in 2022.

With almost 30 years’ experience in professional recruitment companies, Albert Ellis is now in his second year as CEO of Staffline Group plc, having previously spent 15 years as CEO of the Harvey Nash Group. Ellis and the leadership team are fronting the transformation of the group, raising £50 million of new capital in 2021 and completing a £90 million refinancing of the working capital facilities. The group turned a material loss in 2020 into a profit in 2021 and is now focused on setting out its medium-term growth strategy of organic growth from its position as market leader in the UK and Ireland.

As group CEO of Dedicare, Widström is in charge of realising Dedicare’s vision to become one of Europe’s leading recruitment and staffing providers in healthcare, life science and social work. This year, Widström oversaw the development of Dedicare’s life sciences operations with the acquisition of H&P Search & Interim AB. The group’s integration of H&P Search & Interim AB is already paying off with strong revenue growth in the group’s second quarter earnings boosted by the acquisition.
