In 2019, Ancor experienced 27% year-over-year organic growth under Salikov’s leadership, retaining the top position in Russia and all CIS countries. Additionally, Ancor purchased businesses in Thailand, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, with no plans to slow down any time soon. In addition to continued territorial expansion, Salikov’s plans for 2020 include digital transformation and exploring new product niches.

Together with a cost optimisation program, this improved its incremental conversion ratio resulting in an EBITA of 4.9% in the last quarter. Schirmer is also a member of the board of directors of General American Investors and the non-profit organisation Results for Development.
