Phil Sheridan is senior managing director, UK, Middle East and South America, with Robert Half. He trained with Ernst & Young before he joined Robert Half in 1996, where he focused on accounting and finance recruitment, progressing to regional director in 2000 and managing director in 2005. His background in finance has been instrumental in developing and executing strategy, helping the business successfully navigate the challenges of recent years.
Since 2012, Camelia Slivneanu has been executive director of the Romanian Association of Temporary Agents (ARAMT), recognised as a staffing industry voice by both authorities and social partners. Slivneanu has led the organisation as it identifi ed and promoted quality standards and best practices for the staffing industry and improved the industry’s public image. She involved ARAMT in any project aimed at developing young people, resulting in an increasing number of white- and blue-collar jobs created by ARAMT members. ARAMT last year helped prepare a proposal to amend the legislation in the field of temporary work; the proposal will be the subject of a public-private project.
Martin Roll is CEO and president of the board of directors for Persona Service, a personnel service provider with more than 200 branches in Germany. Prior to this, he was managing director and chairman of the management board of AHS Group, an airline-independent ground handling group. He is now managing director at Hannover Airport in Germany. Roll is also chairman of the board of directors of the Gartenkirche (Garden Church) Foundation. Roll, who has a PhD in business management, is also an honorary professor and guest lecturer for air traffic management at Bad Honnef International University.
Darryl Green was named ManpowerGroup’s first COO in May 2014 and is responsible for ManpowerGroup’s four regions — Americas, Asia Pacific Middle East, Northern and Southern Europe. He had been president and executive VP, Asia Pacific Middle East and Northern Europe. Green joined the company in 2007 as executive VP, leading the Asia Pacific Region. Green also led the development of ManpowerGroup’s Borderless Talent Solutions. Green previously served as CEO for several mobile/data communications companies, including Tata Teleservices, J-Phone (Vodafone Japan) and Global Crossing Japan. Fluent in English and Japanese, Green is a director of the Japan Staffing Service Association (JASSA).
Appointed president of ASEMPLEO, the association of private employment agencies in Spain, in 2013, Andreu Cruañas represents the organisation in both Eurociett and CIETT. He is a member of the executive committee of CEOE (Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain), has sat on the boards of CEOE and CEPYME (Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises) since 2013, and is a member of the General Council of the Spanish Employment System (Ministry of Employment and Social Security) and the Central Executive Committee of the Public Employment Service of Spain. In his career, Cruañas has alternated between roles in the public and private sector and was formerly the Secretary of Labour and Employment and Director General of Employment of the Catalan Government.

Award-winning entrepreneur Viktor Calabrò launched Staff Finder, an on-demand staffing platform, in 2009. The platform, now known as Coople, counts more than 250,000 users in Zurich and London. The company has 120 full-time employees and 10,000 registered clients in the UK and Switzerland. Before he launched the platform, Calabrò worked as a programmer for management tools at UBS and as a consultant for Trivadis, a Swiss IT company, where he focused on process optimisation. In 2003, he launched his first entrepreneurial endeavour, La Folie, a Zurich-based events promotions agency. He was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young in 2014. In 2016, Coople was listed in the top 10 of the Best Businesses at London Technology Week by Forbes.
Thierry Geffroy is the CEO of Samsic RH, the staffing business owned by the French facility management group Samsic. Samsic RH ranks among the 10 largest staffing firms in France, and as one of the largest privately owned firms in the market. Thierry joined Samsic in 1992 and in 1998 moved into a leadership role where he was responsible for driving growth. As of 2018, Samsic RH has expanded throughout Europe with more than 300 branches in nearly 10 countries. Samsic RH had turnover of €2 billion in 2017 and has 80,000 employees.
An experienced entrepreneur who has founded five startups, Teppo Paavola joined The Adecco Group as chief digital officer in January 2019; he is also a member of the executive committee. Prior to joining The Adecco Group, he was the chief development officer of Spanish multinational bank BBVA Group. Paavola was previously vice president, head of global business development, M&A and developer relations at PayPal. He is a board member of 3 Step IT and previously served on the boards of Simple Finance, Atom Bank and Propel Venture Partners.
Jean-Philippe Papin is general director of France based Actual Leader Group, established in November 2018 after the merger of temporary employment firms Groupe Actual and Leader Intérim. He had been CEO of the latter, which he founded in 1992 and was the 11th-largest staffing firm in France. Pursuing international development and moving toward its objective of 20% turnover abroad while strengthening its positioning on the European continent, Actual Leader Group in July 2019 acquired a majority stake of Dutch HR services firm Flexfactory (renamed Flexfamily in June 2020), and saw €500 million in 2019 revenue.
