Even Hagelien has been director, staffing industry, for the Norwegian Federation of Service Industries and Retail Trade, or NHO, since 2007. In that time, he has also represented Norway at the private employment industries, international bodies’ Ciett and later at the World Employment Confederation when it rebranded from Ciett. In 2011, Hagelien co-founded the Nordic Network, where Nordic staffing federations discuss common matters. In 2015, he became chair of the Eurociett Research Committee and later the WEC Economic Affairs Committee. In 2019, he was elected as a member of the global board of the World Employment Confederation.

As of January 2018, Picarelli added Lee Hecht Harrison, Spring Professional and Badenoch & Clark globally to his portfolio. Picarelli joined Adecco in 1993, holding several leadership positions before becoming country manager of Adecco Italy & Switzerland from 2005 to 2009 (Switzerland until the end of 2008). He was the group’s chief sales officer from 2009 to September 2015. He is an Italian national and graduated in business administration from Bocconi University, Italy.

Since 2014, Jurriën Koops has served as the managing director for ABU, the Dutch Federation of Employment Agencies. Under Koops’ leadership, ABU, fellow organisation NBBU and the unions negotiated a collective labour agreement in 2019 for all of Netherland’s temporary workers. This is the first time that the industry has seen such an accomplishment in 25 years and is a major victory for Koops. In the coming years, ABU hopes to generate increased support for temporary work. ABU has outlined six strategic projects that focus on the quality and benefits of temporary employment to help them realise this goal.
